Gentle Yoga & Supportive Creative Expression at McCarren Parkhouse!
Join us for a rejuvenating community event at McCarren Parkhouse in Brooklyn, NY. Unwind on a Wednesday evening by embracing connection in a gentle, restorative yoga flow followed by a chance to tap into your creativity with a supportive space for art making!
Kelly, founder of Vanyasa Yoga & Community & yoga instructor in Brooklyn, will be bringing a slice of the integrated healing and connection that Vanyasa is all about to this sweet community space on Thursday April 25, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
She will lead a 45 minute gentle yoga session, where we will lean into that sense of connection, turn inwards, and create ease in our bodies as we flow freely and without judgement. Afterwards, our 60 minute guided creative expression activity will allow you to carry that energy forwards, feeling connected to your authentic sense of self and peace, and create freely... continuing to move without judgement.
This space encourages you to focus on the process of yoga and creating art above the pressure of creating a 'product'. We treasure the journey and the freedom in creative expression through our movement, bodies, and art above all else-- exploring whatever rises up and emerges along the way! Connect with new pals around you in this supportive co-created community space.

Don't worry if you're a 'beginner' in either yoga or art – this event is open to all folks, with love. So grab your yoga mat and join us at McCarren Parkhouse for an opportunity to connect to Self, community, and creativity in a way that honors your inner alignment and sparks some peace and joy!
Our yoga flow will be outside right behind the Parkhouse patio, and we will move inside for the creating portion! any weather updates will be extended via email closer to the event date.
Event payment is on a sliding scale of $15-$35, so pay what you can using the donation option via tickets on this page. This event is non-refundable.
