say ‘yes’ to adventure

& let’s go.

october 11- october 14, 2024.

high falls, new york.

community yoga & art retreat, for all folks.

Let’s paint the picture:

This fall, the Vanyasa Community will be headed Upstate in New York during peak foliage season to build a dream community space that leaves us feeling grounded within our selves, connected to really wonderful humans, & immersed in nature. Join us in embracing a sense of adventure that leads us towards & supports our own unique path of healing.

This Hudson Valley site is less than 100 miles north of New York City, nestled in the foothills of the Shawangunk Mountains. It sits on 88 acres of rolling hills, open fields, walking trails and a diverse forest with farmland and animals on site (yes, you can squeal at the cuteness of the goats & chickens with us!!!).

This retreat weekend will be the perfect opportunity to disconnect from your day-to-day routine, the chaos, and the stressors in order to simply pause. You will be encouraged to slow down, take a deep breath, and reconnect to your Self & soak in a positive community space in order to recharge.

My hope is that you leave feeling energetically lighter and able to step back into your home life a little (or a lot) more aligned to your power & peace.

This retreat integrates multiple healing modalities while immersed in nature. The entire weekend, you will be encouraged to choose your own adventure- everything on the schedule is opt in/opt out by your own choice. So, build the space that you need the most… knowing that I (& this community) will support you in any/all of those choices along the way <3

Please reach out to vanyasayogacommunity@gmail.com if you have any questions about the retreat or its accommodations. Prices are per person, so remember the more people you have in your room the lower the cost per person. Space is limited— this is a first come, first served sign up process. THANK YOU for being here, and I am SO excited to build this experience with you all and honored to catch your leap of faith into the unknown of this retreat!! <3

SO, lastly:

Cancellation Policy

Deposits secure your spot for this retreat and are not refundable.

Refunds for the remaining payments vary depending on timing.

For cancellation requests submitted with more than 60 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (excluding the deposit) will be refunded. Cancellation requests within 60 days of the retreat unfortunately cannot be refunded, with no exceptions.

I understand unexpected events do occur, so if you are worried about this possibility with the knowledge of this cancellation policy, please consider purchasing travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies.

FAQs

  • Short answer…..YES.

This retreat is (TRULY) open to all folks of all experience levels.
If you have ever thought, “I’d love to do yoga (or hiking or art or a retreat), but don’t really know where to start (or feel welcomed) ….” THIS IS FOR YOU.

Feel free to reach out to me via instagram @vanyasa_yogacommunity or email vanyasa.yogacommunity@gmail.com with ANY questions or concerns so that I can help support you along the way <3

  • After you submit your deposit, I will reach out to you via email to confirm your registration (YAY! <3) and coordinate a plan with you/your group for the remaining payments via paypal or venmo.

  • Ash, the Vanyasa Yoga & Community official mascot and certified good boy pup will be present for this retreat weekend in addition to a multitude of farm animals on site.

However, participants cannot bring dogs/pets to this retreat (unfortunately).

And, while we love kids around here, this retreat is for adults (21+).

We send your kids and pets love- and we are excited for you to get to just be you without the responsibilities that come with the many roles you play/fulfill in your day-to-day life. <3

  • Registered participants will be held fully accountable for the cost of the room, according to how many guests are committed as of August 11. (ie: if I have three people signing up with me for a room together, but one cancels prior to 8/11 and just two of us are left registered for the room— we will be held accountable for paying the 2-person cost at $760 pp rather than the three-person cost at $560 pp.)

Set clear expectations with your group members accordingly.

  • Definitely familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy and then make the decision that feels best for you financially.

There are many (many) options for travel insurance out there- so definitely do some research if this is something you are interested in. Travel insurance can reimburse nonrefundable trip costs if unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending the retreat, or even if you change your mind (see “Cancel for Any Reason Option”).

AIG Travel Guard may be a good option (or many others like it), which would need to be added independently within usually 10-14 of travel purchase (ie: retreat payment). This is unaffiliated to the retreat planning and would be something you pursue on your own accord.

Vanyasa is not accountable for any coordination or issues that might rise up using travel insurance, this is just an option because I understand the inconvenience of nonrefundable policies in a world where the unexpected often happens.
